An older property that is maintained about as well as can be, but facility is run down. Bathroom was very poorly maintained with soap bubbles everywhere when we initially went in. Beds are cheap and creaky. Staff were fine. Breakfast was clean but barebones with no eggs or protein except for very hard hard boiled eggs.
Such a comfortable stay. Bedding was clean and comfy. The train is quite loud and I thought it would’ve been bothersome but not very much to my surprise. Everyone is different so beware of
I wanted a good night sleep and a hot shower, so this hotel did provide that. Breakfast was good too. I knew I was getting for the price I paid so I rank it a good hotel. But it’s not well maintained, hallway had a bit of a urine odor. Pool chairs were broken. Hot tub was a bit nasty. That being said though, I slept really well and got my hot shower.
Me and my family loved our stay spectacular staff and rooms. No problem at all very safe motel. Only 30 mins from beach, nice cold pool and clean towels. Dog friendly but rooms smell as if it wasn’t. Enjoyed it we will be back.
Our room was clean. breakfast was good. Noise was an issue as the concrete building is next to train tracks. Also our window was cloudy so you couldn't see thru it. It was also broken so it didn't close all the way. The jacuzzi was also broken, so we couldn't use it.

Staff is very helpful.
Electronic door locks are old and need to be replaced.
Carpets are very old, worn, and dirty.
The property was clean and overall did not smell too musty. However this is a 2 star hotel, the room was concrete and the carpets were stained. The elevator was out of service and the keys only worked one time. The front desk was mildly helpful, but did not have extra blankets. I would say you pay for what you get.
Staff was super helpful and friendly, but the room felt dirty and not only had stains on the carpet but was not properly cleaned, even having hair in the shower (that was not ours). We were going to stay another night but decided to find another hotel instead.

Decent place for the price. Had a spacious room in the separate remodeled vintage building. Comfy green design with concrete walls for our specific room. The A/C was Okay (Kinda weak), The train track behind our room was Irritating late at night. Whenever my co worker and I asked for a room cleaning and towels. We never got it. And called a few times. I left my work sunglasses on the dresser Friday morning, I called the next day and they said they didn’t have them. So that was pretty Wacky. Breakfast was good, Front desk accountants were respectful, Just disappointed that we didn’t get the room service we requested. With that being said though , I probably wont be booking here again though.

The furnishings are very dated. But the a/c worked great. Was clean and quiet. Did not try breakfast
Two stars because the bed and bathroom appeared very clean. The room smelled like smoke and mold (we don't smoke), walls, carpets and flooring were not very clean. The continental breakfast was good. There's was what appeared to be a smelly drunk man, spread on the floor by the stars landing, hours after we informed the front desk. He asked for food or money every time we went by.

The room was clean and the staff were helpful when we could not find any cups. The bathroom shower had no liquid body soap in the 16 oz. dispenser. The breakfast was very good, the coffee excellent with real half and half was available. We have been coming here for years and the kitchen staff(name I think is Daniel) has always had the breakfast ready on time. The heat worked fine and the shower water was hot and there was an adequate number of towels
Overall, we had a good stay, and I want to start by saying that the staff here were absolutely wonderful. Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and they were definitely one of the highlights of the property.
The beds were comfortable, the bedding was clean, and we had plenty of fresh, clean towels, which are always some of the most important things to me when staying at a hotel.
That being said, the property itself is definitely showing its age and feels like it has fallen into a bit of complacent disrepair. The rooms are quite dated, and while they were generally clean, some of the finishes have simply reached the point where they are difficult to make feel clean anymore. The carpet was probably the biggest issue for us — neither of us felt particularly comfortable walking around the room in bare feet.
I really think this property would benefit from some investment in updating the rooms, even if it were done gradually. Replacing the carpeting with laminate or another durable hard-surface flooring would be a fantastic place to start. It would immediately modernize the rooms, be much easier to clean and maintain, and avoid the worn appearance that older hotel carpeting inevitably develops.
I also felt the price was a little high considering the current condition and age of the property. With some relatively straightforward updates, I think the value would feel much more appropriate.
All of that said, I would actually stay here again.
This place was scary. The room was dark and smelly; the bathroom smelled like someone used everyplace but the toilet to pee. The lights provided were not efficient. The carpet was so filthy the thought of accidentally stepping out of bed onto it was enough to second guess some life choices. The jacuzzi had a lovely green tint to the water. There were sketchy people with their doors open sitting on their beds, looked like they might have been doing an extremely extended stay possibly or waiting for someone to come by and visit. Who knows... Either way, I did not feel safe staying there with my grandson. You can think that I am being overly dramatic with my descriptions above, but we ended up leaving our room after 5 minutes and went 7 minutes down the road to the Doubletree. I would not r3ecommend this hotel to anyone, at all, ever...
