"It was short walk from the train station and like 50 minutes from London. The restaurant in the hotel is pretty good and the bus to colchester city center is pretty good. The hotel was clean and check out was pretty easy as well."

"Gym closed, spa was open but had to pre register at reception. Hotel bit dated deffo needs a bit TLC. Room I had was ok, but again in need of some help. Bed very comfy, and towels a plenty. Was ok to stay"

"I had a wonderful visit to Retreat East. The room was wonderful and I took advantage of the free hot tub, steam and sauna. The food for dinner was exceptional and the continental breakfast (also included in the price) was varied and plentiful. I would recommend Retreat East to anyone."
