Enjoy woodland walks through the owner’s grounds directly from your doorstep, or indulge in one of the onsite treatments or wellness classes (additional charges apply). The accommodation is perfectly placed for exploring the stunning Dedham Vale National Landscape (10 miles), and you’ll also be less than 20 miles from the Suffolk coastline. The glamping site sits alongside the 18-hole championship golf course at Hintersham and nearby attractions and days out include Sutton Hoo, Alton Water, Snape Maltings, and Jimmy’s Farm and Wildlife Park (all within 25 miles).

The safari tent is located on a boutique glamping site alongside three other holiday retreats. From the patio, climb the steps to the veranda before entering the bright and inviting accommodation. At the heart of the tent is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with ample space for everyone to spread out and relax. There’s a stylish kitchen area with a breakfast bar and all the equipment needed for a self-catering getaway, and you’ll also find a large dining table for sharing memorable mealtimes as a group. After dinner, retire to the inviting lounge area to read your book in the glow of the wood burner or play a boardgame with the family. The tent has three gorgeous bedrooms: a king-size, a king-size cabin bed accessed by ladder steps, and a bunk room suitable for adults or children. Rounding off the accommodation is a luxurious bathroom with a roll-top bath and cosy underfloor heating.

Heading outside, discover a decked terrace with outdoor furniture and views of the lake. From here, steps take you down to the patio and the picnic bench. Completing this space is a fabulous wood-fired hot tub and BBQ. A fire pit is located just down from the tent on the grass area, giving you a cosy spot slightly set apart for evening gatherings. The tent is surrounded by over 20 acres of shared grounds, including an ancient woodland and a stunning three-tiered wildlife lake. There is an honesty shop on site and private parking is provided 50 metres from the tent.
