"Great location and helpful staff. The room key was glitchy and room layout not ideal - a mirror by the desk would help. The entrance was under maintenance which detracts from the experience, which would otherwise have been more positive. Overall good but will be better once these few glitches are ironed out."

"The room was immaculate and decent. Location wise it super accessible to the city centre There’s good street parking at the weekend. If you’re staying in the weekday you may need to find a car park. "

"Couldn’t find my booking on the system and had to get someone else to handle it, was waiting ages had to come back later "

"Beautiful hotel . Madeleines bar and Issac’s were well managed with excellent customer service and food . The front desk experience was not what we expect from an hotel of this quality and the manager was not experienced in resolving issues. ( hence the lower ratings) Such a shame as the hotel is amazing. Rooms and building just stunning. "

"The phone number for the hostel on Google didn't pick up. The phone number on the email confirmation was wrong. I told the reception when I arrived and she seemed so disinterested is was almost funny. The google maps entry for this hostel notes there is parking, but there isn't. The receptionist recommended parking nearby which had a 4 hour limit, I'm not sure if she's aware people stay overnight in hotels. The communal bathrooms were dirty with loo roll everywhere. The rail on the bunk bed was snapped off and had been re secured with cable ties, so it's a matter of time before someone falls off the top bunk. A piece of glass was missing from the window. "
