"Firstly, staff were extremely friendly and VERY helpful. Breakfast is great (coffee is 👎 but all hotel coffee sucks lol tims next door and starbucks around the corner). I will say, we were told that animals were only booked on the 1st floor (my bf has allergies) and we found dog hair in our room on the 4th floor (like clumps behind the night stands) so they moved us immediately, super helpful and apologetic. The new room was 10x better even looked/smelled cleaner. They do not have any board room or meetings rooms so if you work remote or travelling for work, your room is your only working space which was a bit tough with our family. But you’re in a great location with cafes all around. Laundry room came in super helpful. Fitness space is really small with a few dumbbells but if you want to get a workout in, it’s possible! Pool and hot tub space is really small, but kids loved it and it was well used and accessible. Building is super old/rundown/out of style/out of date… but i did hear that reno’s are in the works. At the end of the day, we were well taken care of, & had what we needed. If you don’t care about the fancy stuff and just need to rest your head and have good customer service, this is the place :) i think we’d return!"

"Central location for hotel of very high standard with very good facilities. Bar and lounge was pleasant with excellent female singer playing guitar on our first night. Breakfast was good but spoiled by intrusive background music. However staff responded to turn it off. Not appropriate for this class of hotel and clientele."
