It’s right downtown, so very walkable to anything you could want/need. We just happened to stay the night of the summer solstice and were a quick 1 minute walk to where the solstice festival was being held. Very close to shops and food as well. "

"It is next to the highway so very convenient to drive to view points on the way to Seward. I stay for one night after long drive. I found it is actually a great stop to continue the next day trip to either Whittier or Seward. This part of Hwy is very scenic. "
