So many opportunities for snorkeling at this beach, a nearby lagoon and at other properties was the highlight.

"Loved the gorgeous ocean view from the room, the spacious backyard and the pool in the backyard. The private beach was very quiet and secluded. The course dinner we had "Basho" with paired wine was excellent! All the staff were very nice and accommodating. We had absolutely amazing time at this villa."

The nearby beach was gorgeous, and food was fantastic at the resort just down the road. We loved the private pool each afternoon and evening. It was the best spot for our Miyako stay! "1 min from the airport. Large, clean rooms and nice pool. Parking can be a little bit of a pain but they do have 24/7 shuttle to the offsite parking location - 5 min walk from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again."

* Japan is a reservation focused country, we found. We found it a challenge to navigate some of this at this location. If you want to have lunch, for example, you need to make a reservation for the shuttle and a reservation for some of the dining locations - lunch is not provided at this hotel.

There was a coffee? Stain on the wall under the bathroom sink next to the trash can.
There were sand and long hair in the towel rack (black basket ) that was located under the sink.
Shower room and bathroom were clean.
But I hesitated to take a bath in the bathtub because of the uncleanness under the bathroom sink.
Other than that, it was a great stay.
Breakfast was excellent. So many options including local food.
