"Very pleasant, clean and low stress place to stay while hiking the caminho. A little off the caminho trail but there is a well maintained hike and bike path from the center of Valença that will take you right to Alma Candida. Breakfast is very good too. "

"This is a practical place to stay in a beautiful location straight opposite a beach in a small cove. We had a great swim and there is a very good restaurant next door. Rooms are well equipped and ours faced the sea which was lovely. Access is automated!"

"We loved this chic and stylish villa. It was so welcoming and light, a real design classic. Fabulous art on the walls, extremely comfortable bedrooms all with en-suite. The river view is an added treat with plenty of dining areas to admire it from. The pool is glorious, a good size for 7 of us to enjoy. We enjoyed everything the house and surrounding area had to offer. Lovely river walks right on the doorstep. The owners were so helpful and communicative. A fabulous holiday!"
