"It was very cold when we got there as the overnight storage heaters had not been on but once they had got up to temperature it was fine. Great pub nearby and such a beautiful view. Lovely places to go nearby."

"First impressions were not so good. Walking into the garden to be met with rubbish bags with maggots. The garden is scruffy and there isn’t a drying line. Having said all that the house is furnished nicely, the downstairs shower is very small, not suitable for a larger person. We didn’t have any bath towels but this was quickly rectified. No welcome pack, a carton of milk would have been nice. "

"We had a nice break in the spacious home. Sadly the property needs some maintenance and upkeep, peeling kitchen cupboards, holes in walls and cupboard fronts, curtain rails/tie backs coming out of wall and we had crisps left in a bowl from a previous guest!Good location to access town and beach and good communition throughout. "Property looked as if renervation has started but nowhere near finished. Door on upper floor bedroom couldn't be closed as the catch was missing just a space where it used to be. Door on upper floor bathroom wouldn't close - too tight a fit so couldn't be locked - no privacy. Difficulty shutting and locking rear french windows didn't feel very secure. TV remote didn't work. Tried changing the batteries but no success. When we reported were told others had made same comments but it still wasn't...

"My second time at Daisy Cottage and this time with my daughter and her 2 and 3 year olds. We had a brilliant time and took advantage of the nearby beaches at Watermouth and Combe Martin. Perfect for the little ones who really enjoyed it. Watermouth Castle family theme park,within walking distance, was ideal for a fun day out. Thank you again Laura and Jonathan for our stay in your beautifully kept cottage. "
