"We had a couple of maintenance issues with the bathroom. The shower holder was loose, and the lighting was minimal, only 1 of the 3 bulbs were working. As a result of the poor lighting, the cleaning staff failing to clean the shower properly. Due to the lack of maintenance staff in the evening, I assisted in the replacement of one of the bulbs, as the concierge would have needed a step ladder to do it. However, despite these challenges, we had a great time, the staff were exceptional, very friendly and helpful, and the biggest plus for us was they were pet friendly. The night concierge was particularly friendly and extremely generous toward our Border Collie, Bodger, who in turn appreciated all the treats. With a bit more investment in the fabric of the building, both internally and externally, the proprietor will have a great little business on their hands."

"We enjoyed our stay at sherborne lodge. Staff were amazing and breakfast was great too. The room was very clear and well presented. There is a bit of history with dining room and adds to the charm. Lunch and dinner spent in town. Car parking available. Price was responsible too. Easy walk into Ilfracombe town centre. A small hill on the return walking journey."

"Would return to the North Devon resort. Very friendly and welcoming staff amd nothing was too much trouble. Apartment was clean and tidy and provided for small comforts such as teabags, coffee and milk. Very nice stay amd wish i would have stayed longer to enjoy the complex more. "
