The house was less then 5 minutes walking to a wonderful grocery store, 8 minutes to the train, and so many things to see walking around the neighborhood. It is quiet and no other tourist. "We spent a month in this home, allowing us to 'go slow' and really immerse ourselves in Tokyo with our two primary school-aged children. Best points:- the river is beautiful: lots of opportunities for carp spotting and scenic walks. - all basics are nearby (supermarket, convenience store etc...)- choice of two local train stations (Oji and Itabashi) to get into Tokyo city, plus a busThings to consider:- this isn't the 'hip' part of town, but is great for families. - trains are 15 min walk away,...
