"Could not be happier about my 2 days stay at Rakucho ryokan. The room was perfect: clean, quiet, the futon super confortable and the showers/toilets clean and surprisingly quite modern. The host was very welcoming and offered really great suggestions for my stay. The small bike rental shop he suggested (“Bike laboratory”) really made my trip to Kyoto a memorable one. "古い町屋の雰囲気を残しながら、とても清潔に掃除されていて、水回りや部屋の隅など細かいところも一切不潔感がありませんでした。店主の方もとても感じがよかったです。 古い日本家屋なので階段はそれほど長くはないですが、かなり急で特に降りる時は梯子っぽい怖さがあるので、お酒飲まれる方や足の障害、お子様がいらっしゃる方などは一階を予約しておくことをおすすめします！"

"The deluxe twin was perfect for two adults and two kids. Very spacious room with all amenities. The hotel is great! The metro station is just under it, convenience stores and mcdonald's just across the street, several local eateries in the shopping complex, and excellent restaurants within the hotel. Facilities were really good, and the staff was super nice. Will go back for sure! "
