"Nasty little man one morning at the desk. Older, sour. The rest of th time front was staffed by helpful professionals. Property is very old but well maintained. PLease note: the Amadeus is right on the main drag from the train station. These is howver, a nice little garden at the enter of the property. Very convenient if you're using Venice S. Maria station."

The hotel is close to shops, restaurants, and major tourist attractions, so it can get a little noisy late at night and during the day, but nothing too alarming. Also, be prepared to hear the church bells ringing every hour, which personally did not bother me at all. "
