"We stayed at the hotel (second time now) for 3 nights. The staff as always are very friendly, polite and helpful (whether at reception, breakfast area, cleaning team etc). The general state of the room is quite "dated": A few scratches here and there, shower handle that keeps falling off the base, the bed mattress somewhat uncomfortable are some examples. Breakfast choice was good. Hotel needs some renovation to get it back to its old "glory"! Location of hotel is excellent close to Kifissia central and adjacent to Kefalari square."

"Check in initially went well. We were told we were given a room upgrade. The room was definitely not an upgrade!! The floor was under construction and the noise level was extremely loud! A lot of hammering and drilling. When we inquired how long the noise would continue, we were told it was from 9am to 9 pm. We asked for a quieter room and the front desk reacted with an attitude and our room was downgraded. There is no way the hotel did not know about the noise on this floor and they never seemed apologetic for assigning us to a room on it."

"Door to bathroom opened into batgroom and was stopped by metal stopper on floor . Bumped toes into stopper several times, made of metal .. ouch "

"The breakfast was good, but there were a number of issues in my stay: 1. the AC didnt work in my room 2. this isnt the hotel's fault, but there were too many kids running around in the halllway and throughout the hotel. this must have been a kids field trip. maybe 50-75 kids total. they were running up and down the hallway until like 1-2 am. What is the hotel's problem is they didn't do anything about trying to keep the noise down. 3. Because it was so hot in the room combined with the noise, I got very little sleep every night I think I may have learned my lesson... I should have stayed at more expensive hotel (possibly even a chain hotel) to price out this kind of nonsense."

"Overall great hotel and wonderful lobby and friendly staff. Sitting on rooftop having breakfast with view of acropolis was amazing. The breakfast itself was plentiful and varied, but refilling could have been a bit quicker. Imagine it would be extremely busy at peak times (we went off peak) and not so pleasant. The staff were all friendly though. Good location about 15 min walk into tourist city centre, and 5 min walk from metro. They stored our luggage for us on the last day which was very helpful. We had a deluxe room which had a huge queen bed. The view was of a derelict building, and the bathroom was clean but small, which was a slight let down. Wonderful touch from hotel who left an anniversary cake in our room which was one of the best chocolate cakes I have eaten!"

"Good part of the city close to Metros, very clean, good bar and restaurant with great food. It deserves to be a five star."

"Check in/out was smooth with no contact. The size of the room was good. USB charging ports installed. Upon arrival I Tried to book a parking but the WhatsApp message was ignored. However they had parking spots visibly available for the duration of my stay. Kitchen did not have a cutting knife. "

"Online information sent for check in with codes for front door and room. Never saw any staff. Very clean room with kitchenette which had everything you may need to prepare a meal. Krups coffee machine with Nespresso style pods supplied. Bed was very comfortable. We could see the Acropolis in the distance from the balcony. Great place to stay for a short break in Athens."
