I stayed here for 3 nights. The location is excellent!! So many wonderful lively restaurants and shops, and a short walking distance to everything you need to see in Athens and the metro for anything else. I felt safe walking around and despite the central location it was very quiet at night for sleeping.
The staff were all genuinely very kind and helpful throughout my stay. One staff member even helped me find an affordable way to get to the airport early in the morning, which I really appreciated!
However, the main issue was the bathroom cleanliness and hotel maintenance. The shower had visible mold in the tile grout and significant limescale buildup on the shower head. The housekeeping lady was sweet and really tried her best to remove as much of it as possible after I reported it, however it was not possible. I was also shown an alternative room, but it was similar. Its clearly something that has built up overtime rather than a one-time cleaning miss.
The bedroom itself was mostly clean and the bed was really comfortable which I appreciated. Yet, it was also showing signs of wear along the windows and the outlets. Just in general I found the property to need better maintenance.
I think this hotel could be a good option for a very short stay if location and price are priorities, but it may not meet expectations for travelers who place a high value on bathroom cleanliness and maintenance.
