"Great stay, staff were amazing, check in was a breeze, including a comp upgrade for our 20th anniversary. Only stayed for one night; but could have happily stayed longer. Room was immaculate, view is stunning across Whitby and the Abbey. Cooked breakfast was great, poached eggs on request, missed out on the fruit, but that’s what a lie in does. A lie in caused by a really comfortable bed, best night asleep in a good while! Thanks Royal Hotel, we really appreciated being looked after so well!"

"Great location for both centre of Scarborough and also to the dog accessible beach. Rooms were very nice and modern. Rain capes and fan were provided which was excellent. The longe area was very nice too - great hotel fit staying with dog"

"We just loved our stay here. Glamping and so much more. The pod was very large, very clean, very comfortable, and had everything you would need for a first class stay. The internet was blazing fast. The kitchen was good sized, and it even had a large refrigerator and dishwasher. We stayed there 3 nights and wish we had made the reservation for more nights."

"upgraded to a suite beach house sandsend excellent thank you.the brasserie food we thought was overpriced for instance we had chicken kyffs compared to a meal deal from m and s at £15 for the same meal which also included veg and a sweet.the staff were very helpful and friendly."
