"My double bed room was good for a single night stop but no storage t shirts, socks etc if stopping longer. Very good for close by amenities & it your visiting the Crucible, as it's just a 5 min walk."

"Our stay was OK. The surrounding area is noisey late into the night. We were placed in the basement, and initially our second room smelled of smoking and not great. The fantastic staff were understanding and did move us with no problems. Parking is a bit of an annoyance. We had to park a short walk away. The suggestion was that the hotel had a beneficial rate (it doesn’t). It is the same as if you just pulled up. There is a car park that is closer (the NCP) and marginally cheaper (save a £1 overnight). Overall - we will probably look elsewhere next time. "

"Entrance was open plan, welcoming, clean with café and bar. Room was good for the price, bed were good, and clean. Central location so easy to get to most places. Would stay again. Be aware of parking, read reviews of local parking areas to prevent fines."

"We were given a room that having viewed others friends rooms was the worst, we had a very small room that was cold and asked for a heater and a view of a roof that was very dilapidated, not sure if we got the worse room because booked through Expedia also we had stuff left in the room from the previous guest"

"I don’t usually post negative comments but feel on this occasion it’s require based on the room rate. Our room including bathroom was slightly tired and is in need of a refreshment and lacked your normal toiletries for this level of hotel. The mini fridge compressors was very loud and as such led to both nights of poor sleep, not ideal when you book a weekend away to recover. However, the main building was very beautiful and had a nice lounge to relax in the evening."

"Some small issues, TV remote not working, bedside shelves wonky, no hand towel and air con not great. However the place was clean, staff friendly and has on-site parking. Overall it was reasonable for the price paid."
