"Appalling customer service! We had planned a short break to visit friends in Filey at the beginning of August 2026 and made a reservation almost 6 weeks ago. Unfortunately, a family member was rushed into hospital just before the planned weekend and we had to cancel our trip. I wrote to the hotel via the Hotel.com messaging facility with apologies for the cancellation and enquired if they were prepared to provide us with a credit for a stay in the near future. We heard nothing from the hotel, so...

"Well appointed 2-bed property with comfortable furnishings, nice, modern decor which suits its location, a good bathroom and a well appointed kitchen perfect for cooking meals in. Very short walk to the park ameneties (pool, shop etc) and a short walk to the dog-friendly beach for walks. Walkable to Filey along the beach but equally a very short drive and close to Bridlington as well makes this a perfect jumping-off spot for touring the Yorkshire coast."

"We were back again for another week in this home from home property. Its just great you have to understand that lots of people have been inhabiting this property. Maybe some dont treat it as they should. Keep up the standard and like us they will come back again."

"Property was perfectly situated within Filey, 5-10 minutes walk into the centre plus a Tesco superstore a few minutes walk away. On street parking directly outside property and there was a pleasant welcome pack on arrival."
