"The rental was beautiful. You forget you are in a basement because of the size and tall ceilings. We loved having our bedroom separate from the kids(theater room). Unfortunately the weather was terrible so we didn't get to enjoy the outside. The owners were very friendly and even gave us fresh eggs for breakfast. We have stayed at lots of vrbos but this was our first in Canada and our first basement. It was surprisingly quiet and the only thing we heard was the dog occasionally running. The only negatives were the bed was pretty squeaky and it wasnt as clean as we are used to. The basics were clean but the corners and edges of the floor had a fair amount of dirt piled up especially in the theater room and laundry. Overall, it was still a great stay! Would definitely stay there again if in the area."
