The Space:
Harbor Heights Retreat is your ideal retreat for discovering the vibrant island of Puerto Rico. Designed for families or small groups of friends, this villa is situated within the prestigious Palmas del Mar Resort. With 1,800 square feet of bright living space, the villa offers three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, a washer and dryer for your convenience, and a charming balcony where you can unwind while enjoying the surrounding resort ambiance. In addition to the balcony, guests can enjoy a private rooftop terrace with seating, a BBQ area, and beautiful views of the resort grounds.
The stylish decor creates a tranquil and inviting atmosphere, making it a delightful escape. Harbor Heights Retreat comfortably accommodates up to six guests.

LIVING AREAS
The open-concept layout effortlessly connects the kitchen, dining area, and living room, creating a welcoming space for gathering. The living room is furnished with an L-shaped sofa, and a flat-screen TV, making it a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. The dining area, with seating for six, looks out to the terrace, providing a seamless indoor-outdoor feel. A half bathroom is conveniently located in the hallway.
Step out onto the balcony and find access to the rooftop terrace through a spiral staircase and access ample seating, a dining table for six, and a BBQ grill. This makes it ideal for al fresco meals or unwinding with family and friends.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
The master bedroom features a queen-size bed, a flat-screen TV, a spacious closet, and a private en-suite bathroom. It also opens to the terrace, allowing you to enjoy refreshing breezes from the comfort of your room. The second bedroom offers another queen-size bed, a flat-screen TV, and ample closet space, while the third bedroom is furnished with another queen bed. All rooms include air conditioning, blackout curtains, premium furnishings, and resort-quality linens. The second and third bedrooms share a full bathroom located in the hallway.
PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):
We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.
KITCHEN
Harbor Heights Retreat features a sleek and functional kitchen with modern and sleek white cabinetry and quartz countertops. The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials for extended stays, including an electric stovetop, refrigerator/freezer, oven, microwave, and coffee maker. The center island offers extra prep space and ensures that the chef can stay connected with the group. The kitchen island also offers additional seating space. This inviting kitchen provides everything you need for a comfortable stay.
GETTING AROUND & PARKING
The property includes two (2) parking spots for cars and one (1) additional small parking spot in case you decide to rent a golf cart.
We strongly recommend renting a car to be able to move around the area. Ubers are not readily available and cannot be relied on.
If looking to rent a golf cart so you can have direct access to the beach, we can provide the number of the rental companies on-site.
LOCATION:
Harbor Heights Retreat is located at the Harbour Lakes community, within Palmas del Mar.
Palmas del Mar offers a wonderful mile-long beach, multiple dining options, marina, tennis, and golf – among other offerings. The resort has miles and miles of running and cycling trails. There is also a community pool within Harbour Lakes.
Here are some of our favorite things to do:
Golf at one of Palmas del Mar’s two 18-hole Golf Courses. Tee times can be booked directly with the Palmas del Mar Athletic Club.
Tennis at the Palmas del Mar Athletic Club with 20 courts that include artificial grass, Har-Tru Clay, and hard courts.
Lunch or dinner at “La Pescaderia,” an oceanfront restaurant by the marina with some of the best seafood on the island.
Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 40-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship.

STARTER AMENITIES
At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.
All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest.
We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:
- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)
- 3 garbage bags
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)
- 1 dish soap
- 1 dish sponge
- A small amount of laundry detergent
Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.
Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.
HOUSE RULES
RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.
NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.
UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 6 adults/children at all times, including visitors.
OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.
TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.
TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.
SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.
If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.
If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.
Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.
TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.
Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.
