"The ranger house is spacious with big kitchen, deck & living room, 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The deck is badly in need of refurbishing. There are sleeping cabins in the park so extra family members can join you. The path to the lake is hilly and the approach to the pier needs work. The kitchen did not have a toaster which was a real disappointment and we were unsuccessful trying to reach the host. There are a lot of pluses for this rental and we will probably use it again. "It was our 2nd stay at the Iron Horse. The first time we stayed was winter and it was snowy. We weren’t able to get around without our car much. This 2nd time was better. We walked across the street to eat a pizza and have some brewed beer. The room was clean both times and I barely heard other visitors. We had a great time there. "
