Thanks again, SK, for a memorable visit, outrageous art, a delightful room, divinely unique detail, crazy comfy bed, fantastic lounge music and delicious food. A special shout out to Clay, the truly gracious and hospitable day bartender whose warmth, welcome and insights on the city absolutely made our stay. "The Fairfield Inn turned out to be a wonderful place to stay for two nights during a downtown festival in Milwaukee. It's technically in West Milwaukee, but it's an easy 10 too 12 minute drive to the lakefront, close to Cathedral Square, and near the restaurant/gallery district. The price is a bit on the high side, but everything in Milwaukee was expensive during Bastille Days, so we were satisfied. And the accommodations were excellent, as was the very helpful staff."
