Where to stay in Huangshan

Life is a dead-end street.

- H. L. Mencken

Tunxi's Ancient Town is like any area in the world where civic minded leaders utilize a bit of history and dress it up with an aim to pull in as much cash as possible to give more life to their own dead end streets. However, it offers a pleasant afternoon where one can quickly sample the local food and while away a couple of hours.

My daughter and I went to two villages, had tea at the tea museum, shopped in the underground mall, visited old town, and did numerous other wonderful things here. I would recommend this hotel to all my young friends.

"Trail" beyond the cable tram is completely paved but lots lots of stairs, if you are not fit avoid any hike over 30 minutes and avoid weekend and holiday visit due to crowds.Facilities nice and fairly clean.
