We did notice the heating wasn't working but after messaging the team they responded really fast and when they realised they couldn't fix it that evening, offered us a different room (with a sea view!) which was absolutely no hassle to us and we were impressed by the efficiency and thoughtfulness of the staff. "Perfect place to stay in the quiet and laid back village of Dounby as it is close to a lot of archeological sites which are about 10 to 20 minutes away in every direction. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great food as well. Spacious parking in the back. There is a gas station and a market across the street so you don’t have to worry about driving too far to refuel and get food. This place will be my go-to the next time I travel to Orkney Islands!"
