We had a fantastic stay! The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We really enjoyed the great lounge facilities and the cafe bar, which were perfect for relaxing. The beds were super comfortable, and the buffet breakfast was delicious.

Very nice hotel, center of town, welcoming staff and the food was very good. Floors are a bit creaky due to buildings age. Thurso seems to be a stop for people going on to Orkney, but if i needed a base to see Caithness, i would stay at the Pentland. Single room reasonably priced.

Stayed, two adults, two kids. Room was slightly updated from the pictures- two beds vs the picture showed bunk beds. Overall nice, black out curtains, room enough for all our bags. Breakfast included was tasty and perfect. Would def stay again.
