"This was a nice apartment and stay forThe price. Close to train station. However would be nice to add a microwave. I had to reach out by calling the host after no response about check in information on VRBO app. Received the check in information very late the night prior to my stay. Was charged 50 for early check in but when we arrived they were stillCleaning and we had to wait about 15-20minutes outside. Overall with all the inconveniences. It ended up being good stay for the price. "

"Positives: Location is convenient, right next to the red line for easy access to cta. Cooling unit in the apartment kept us comfortable in the hot Chicago nights.Negatives: Hosts have guests rely on a shared key to the exterior door to access the building. We were locked out, unable to get inside on more than one occasion when the key was not returned by others. I recommend that the hosts spend a little extra money and provide an extra copy of the building key alongside the room key to prevent...

"Upon entering the apartment, it was not even close to as advertised. The smoke detector was hanging from the wall, clearly not working. The listing said there was air conditioning. The air conditioner in the living room did not work, and there were brown leak marks down the wall where it was located.
