"This was a family reunion. .The home had everything and more to accommodate 9 of us comfortably plus one doggie.Kitchen was extremely well equipped far beyond our past vrbo experiences. All the comforts of home were there.Beach toys were an added bonus especially the floating "dock". "The cottage had everything we needed, with a beautiful view of the water. We were lucky enough to catch a stunning sunset over the lake on our first night, which really set the tone for a relaxing stay. Jennifer is a thoughtful and accommodating host who was easy to communicate with. She offered us thicker blankets in case it got chilly and even upgraded our cottage at no extra cost. Everyone in the community was so friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be returning!"

"We booked a "Newly Renovated 2 Bedroom Cabin" as what was shown on Vrbo and drove 170 kms to get there. When we walked in, the attached photos showed what we saw. Then, the owner came saying that "it was nothing" and they knew how to handle this. The solution they proposed was for them to take 15 minutes to clean the mess up. Yes, it might be sufficient to remove all the trash and construction equipment off the floor. What about the uncovered furniture and kitchen cabinets that were covered with dust? My child is allergic to dust so we had to turn around and drive another 170 kms to go back home. We did get the refund, but what about driving back and forth for nothing and our ruined long weekend plan? Zero compensation from the owner. Quite opposite, the owner accused us of having a bad attitude, since we didn't get our expectation right for staying at a cabin. We book cabins every summer and this is the first time we encountered such a ridiculous experience. "
