"Golf and spa great - hotel is just in need of some love. It’s just showing age and could do with a refresh of the rooms balconies and common areas. Spa, health’s club and golf are exceptional and every member of staff is polite and helpful just needs some TLC."

"A completely 5-star experience. Every member of staff was friendly, cheerful and helpful. Valet parking as standard, slick and efficient reception, immaculate room which was serviced at least twice per day, beautiful pool, steam room and sauna. The grounds were immaculate and a joy to explore. Both restaurants served top class meals. Total luxury from end to end. That all comes with a sizeable price tag, and service charge on everything, but the experience is worth every penny. We personally recommend booking early for the restaurants and Spa treatments, you can do this way in advance of your visit. We treated ourselves to a massage at the Elan Spa and it was professional and very relaxing. Highly recommend."

"Friendly and accommodating staff - decor a bit tired - shower was broken on arrival but the staff were quick to sort it out. Clean, tidy and in a beautiful environment - lovely views from my balcony. Breakfast was good - ordering in advance at a set time meant no waiting for hot food."
