The Leeds to Liverpool canal-side walk from Saltaire is absolutely beautiful, especially in the summer when everything is luscious and green (July2016). Saltaire itself is also a great place to spend an afternoon, walking around the park and exploring Salt's Mill. The cafe inside - named after David Hockney's dog - is great and very pushchair-friendly.

The bathroom was a mess all the tiles where black mykids didnt even want a shower. The toilet did nt flush properly. Towel rail didnt even work. Extra bedding wasnt supplied had to ask as the room was booked for 2 adults and 1 child but there wasnt enough bedding was told the room was only booked for 2 people. Must stress that the young man that was on duty that night...
