Comfortable and reasonable prices.

We stayed there for three nights while taking treatments in Vancouver. Very comfortable and quiet. Everything was great, no problems.

Because they had no vacancies, they were not keeping their office open, and not answering their phone or responding to messages. I had a reservation booked through Expedia, and I thought I would easily make their 10 PM check-in, but unforeseen circumstances happened and I called them within office hours to try to arrange a key. They didn’t answer, and I arrived to a locked door. Luckily I managed to find a room to rent at another nearby hotel (their last room!). But when I saw the lady at the Park Inn the next morning she said they wouldn’t have left me a key even if they had answered the phone. She said they follow the model of a bank— when they close for the day, that’s it, no more service. Which I thought was a strange policy for a business whose whole reason for existence is to sell an overnight service! Maybe the owners should consider opening a bank instead— it would certainly result in less travellers being stranded with no where to sleep in Hope when they thought they had a reservation. If something comes up to make you miss their 10pm deadline, you are out of luck, and phoning them ahead of time does no good. Beware.

My family and I stayed at Park Motel for one night this weekend. Denise, at the front desk, was super friendly. The facilities were clean. My only suggestion is for guests to have access to regulating the A/C (it shuts off at 8pm). We found it a little warm in the middle of the night. Overall, our stay was comfortable.

We didn't even stay. We pulled up outside the motel, which was in a really sketchy area of Hope, sat outside for a few minutes and realized we did not feel safe staying there. The outside of the place DID NOT look at all like the picture, it was run down and sleazy looking. We didn't even bother to go in, we left and stayed in another town. Also, online it said that I was booking the last room available and their sign clearly showed they had vacancies!! Terrible, terrible, terrible. I will not bother using Expedia again.

This is an older property with basic facilities but it has been maintained and was very clean. Located in the centre of town, easy walk to restaurants, shops, parks.

I arrived with my dog after booking a pet-friendly room only to be told they are not pet-friendly. The manager wanted a $200 cash deposit plus additional rates for the room which was NOT explained on any website. Then, she gave me no means of being able to collect that deposit back on departure. Their office hours are not conducive to early departures therefore, I was not willing to pay such an exhorbitant charge. She made it extremely difficult to accept these terms so we decided to go to another pet-freindly hotel with a better rate, better location and much more accommodating staff. When I gave a bad review ofPark Hotel, the Manager, Denise phoned me within five minutes and used foul language (said f#*k you) . I hung up. I received an email from her via Expedia where she accused me of trying to sneak my dog into a non-pet-friendly hotel, presenting a fraudulent credit card (my card wasn’t accepting the transaction) and stated that “we don’t want trash like you here anyway”!!! The abusive emails that ensued were tantamount to slander. I would NEVER recommend the Park Hotel to anyone with or without a pet! Very bad guest service all around
