"As the name and geographical location suggest, the Moorland Hotel in Wotter sits high on a beautiful stretch of Dartmoor. The industry rating is 3⭐ which is probably fair and accurate. (Go somewhere else if luxury’s your thing). But whatever it may not have is handsomely offset by the hotel’s affordability; its natural and effortless charm; its truly stunning location; the warm welcome and the top notch cuisine.
The Moorland is also host on Sunday nights to the famous Folk on the Moor Folk...
"What a lovely stay! My hosts were responsive, friendly and just good people. The room was very nice and the bed was so comfortable! You’re within a quick stroll to the beach or to the shops! Don’t think twice. Book it!"

"Stayed for 5 nights, have stayed before. Guesthouse 2 minute walk to front. Room had small fridge and microwave which was ideal for me, was advised private bathroom but was sharing with 2 others, not happy about that but otherwise a lovely stay. Marina very helpful on arrival and chatty throughout stay. I would return."
