"This is a fantastic property in a quiet cul-de-sac 10 minutes drive from Wakefield and about 30 minutes from York or Harrogate. The cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need for a great stay. Clean and modern inside ample parking and great views."

"The property was in an excellent position, well equipped and very clean. Communication with the owner was excellent when we did encounter a problem with the shower which was quickly solved. The outside patio area could do with a little maintenance to improve the overall experience as we spent a lot of time sitting and eating outside in beautiful weather and surroundings. We felt that the provision for recycling also needed improving but otherwise the whole experience was excellent"

"We stayed now on two occasions on our journeys north & south to Scotland. The bungalow is easily accessible not too far from the A1 & there are good convenience facilities just off the A1 roundabout less than 4 miles from Austerfield. The bungalow is furnished to a high standard with comfortable sofas & excellent beds & bedding. The location is in a secure park with intriguing deer statues in several places. Well recommended for short or long stays."

"A large and immaculate house. Perfect for large family group of various ages. Kitchen room was lovely and great size bedrooms. We made use of the hot tub a number of times. The games room was very disappointing though. The local area has a number of attractions and perfect for few days away."

"Jonathan and Jane were wonderful hosts. The barn was very warm and well resourced for a Christmas stay. It easily slept 8 and there were plenty of crockery etc. for everyone. We would recommend this property to anyone."

"Parking was an issue we were sent an image a few days before our trip with parking area circled however when we arrived there was no room we were then informed that it was not designated parking for the cottage also no microwave which of course would have been helpful otherwise nice and clean and comfy beds"

"Nice stay. Lovely and Clean. Beautiful surroundings. Driveway is very steep and the underfloor heating downstairs would never turn off leaving it very warm. Great stay though and would happily return."

"A really characterful cottage with lots of atmosphere, large rooms, lovely views and a good garden. The kitchen equipment is simple but all of good quality. One of the best things about the cottage is its proximity to good walks and the fact that the village is connected by public transport."

"Everything about this property was incredible, better than we had imagined. Julia and Dave greeted us at the property and showed us how to use the sauna etc, and even put some nail polishes in the ‘relaxation room’. They kindly lent us flour too for our Yorkshire puddings for our roast dinner on Sunday too! There are plenty of towels and extra touches like shampoo and conditioner etc. Lots of lovely throws that some people snuggled under whilst chatting to others in the hot tub. It was honestly...

"The property was very clean, in a great location and the owners were really helpful. We booked the hot tub and I recommend that. It was big and a great hit with the children. We had access to the biggest video library I have seen. We only stayed for 3 days but could happily have stayed for longer if we could."

"Amazing property, with a lot of quirky features. Could have done with some baking trays and the pans were quite small, especially the frying pan. People might struggle cooking a meal if 6 people occupied the property. We had a slight issue with a faulty security light switch, but I left the owners a note. Would probably book again as in a fantastic area."
