"This was our third visit to this spectacularly lovely property. Our first review in 21 May 2024 remains just as valid this year as then. We had another fabulous vacation here. The property is very comfortable with a beautiful peaceful garden, Simon & Sallie made sure we had settled in OK and were easily contactable if we had needed their assistance with anything. Thank you both. We would love to return next year for another restful week exploring the beautiful villages and countryside."

DAISY COTTAGE in peaceful rural location

"Second time at Daisy cottage, it hasnt changed at all. Same peaceful and relaxing environment. We got a really good week for weather, temps up to 32c. Cottage was clean, hosts were amazing, making sure we checked in ok. Lovely welcome basket, and we got a welcome party from all the local birds with the morning chorus. Beautiful to hear. If you can put up with the giant pot holes on the roads, daisy cottage is the most beautiful place. We will certainly recommend to anyone"

"Our stay at Buckhouse Farm was excellent. The property is lovely and very well maintained as well as the surrounding grounds. As hosts, Deborah and Anthony are great and very helpful. The pool is a lovely bonus. The views from the property, overlooking the fields is amazing. The single lane drive to the property for the last ten minutes of the journey is not for nervous drivers, but the locals are very accommodating with passing points. It was well worth it."

Rural Holiday Cottage with Wonderful Countryside Views on Friendly Smallholding.

"We stayed here for a few days as a “home base” for day trips to Dartmoor, Exeter and the Devon coast. Rob greeted us on arrival and was a charming host. The cottage was clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable – we cooked in most nights and the kitchen was up to the task. We especially enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace. Parking is a breeze (immediately outside the cottage) and Honiton is only an 8-minute drive for supplies and antique shopping! Highly recommended."

"Lovely stop on the way to Cornwall. Gorgeously comfortable bed and linen. We arrived exhausted from a long transatlantic flight with 2 cats and the owner was so kind to us. She saved our bacon as we honestly could not have driven further! Superb breakfast and we will definitely return 💜"
