"There are just too many thing to list that we enjoyed. We booked this property for for Dads 80th Birthday supprise. The property more than catered for 19 of us with extrem comfort and space. The house and location was just beautiful with 4 acres of Garden to enjoy, along with the open water naterual swiming pond, out door eating area with wood fired Pizza oven and an amazing wood fire hot tub, just brilliant. "Staying in the lovely cottage in Shaldon was an absolute delight! The accommodation itself is excellent and close to amenities. The village boasts a bakery, inviting pubs, and the fantastic Clipper restaurant, ensuring there's never a shortage of delicious dining options. Additionally, the short walk to Teignmouth provided ample opportunities to explore the pier, browse quaint shops, indulge in cozy cafes, and even take a scenic ferry back to Shaldon, making it a truly memorable and picturesque...

"This is probably the very best holiday accommodation i have ever stayed in. It was clean, spacious and the kitchen was superbly well equipped. The grounds are extensive, wirh beautiful views. We were here in late spring when rhe blossom and birdsong are amazing. We had an age range of 9 to 70 and everybody was happy. The games room got a lot of use! The hosts were pleasant and gracious. A very very big thank you to our hosts. Worth every penny!,"

"This townhouse is exactly as described. The location is superb--a very short distance to Quay-side restaurants and shops and also close to food markets, but very quiet! Rooms are comfortable and lots of space. There are 3 floors and stairs, so need to be comfortable with that. All the basic amenities, but no frills. Would be helpful to have more instructions on appliances for those of us from out of country. We would definitely stay here again--excellent place!"

"An all male party of 6 stayed for 3 nights and the property suited us perfectly. Communication from the owners was good. The furniture was perhaps a little ‘tired’ but did not affect the quality of our stay as it has everything we needed."

"Our stay was flawless, conveniently located in the heart of the countryside. The facilities were great and the listing doesn’t do it justice, all of us who stayed had nothing but positive things to say about the accommodation which was thoughtfully decorated throughout. It was a shame the weather wasn’t on our side the whole time so we could make use of the great outdoor space however we were so lucky with the inside space that it didn’t affect the weekend. "Perfect place to stay for a young family and dog! Great size rooms, safe and secure garden, and everything you could need for a short break. Lots of lovely local walks - including to the coastal path, and information left at the property to help you find local places to visit. The owners of the property were very helpful and considerate and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great stay. We will definitely be back!"

"Overall we enjoyed our stay but there was a few things that took the edge off a perfect break. The shower in the en-suite bedroom leaked through the kitchen ceiling so we couldn’t use it which meant that nine of us had to use the one other shower! The French door/window in the lounge was difficult to open & close and the rain came in at the bottom right side and the carpet got wet and we couldn’t open the bi fold doors in the dining area. The cutlery wasn’t very clean so we had to wash it all...
