"It’s a stunningly built hotel, with a great view. Buffet breakfast was outstanding and we had buffet dinner once which was almost as good. Only the carvery meat which was a little average, but everything else was great. Friendly staff. The promise of a bottle of wine for being a hotels.com gold member never materialised. Don’t know if that’s more of an issue with the hotel or hotels.com And we had to switch rooms because water was leaking through the ceiling when we used the shower, so that wasn’t ideal. Nice location, fairly easy 15-20 min walk to the old town. Restaurant by the pool, is priced perhaps as you’d expect for a hotel like this - so not great value."

"We loved the apartment! It had great air conditioning.! The people who managed the property were awesome and very helpful. They even helped us with our luggage the night before we left and had their cousin meet us at the apartment to help with luggage to their taxi which had to park outside the city walls. The only issue you may need to know was there were many steps to get up to the apartment because it was on the very top floor. So if you don’t have an issue with lots of steps this is the place for you."

We had an early flight the next morning. The staff were extremely helpful in arranging transportation to the airport for a reasonable price as well as providing us with a box breakfast to go.
