"Big hotel close to the train but on a quiet location. It felt like a 4 star hotel with the amenities and grandness of the building . Room was big and bathroom big. Breakfast was great"

Of site parking very close by NCP I belive! £17.50 for 24hrs thanks to discount when staying at this hotel. Only negatives were no soft close on the toilet seat and the bed was a bit firm for me. "

"The hotel is in a great location. The facilities were very good and the room was clean and tidy. The breakfast buffet was brilliant and had plenty of choices which were kept fresh, it was possibly one of the best breakfasts we've had in a hotel for a long time. The pool facilities are nice, although the pool is a little smaller than other hotels, the area clean and tidy with a few seats around the side. The hot tub was a decent size for a few adults though. We had a wonderful stay and would stay again if we were back up in York."
