"The location was excellent. No Fridge and i had medication requiring refrigeration- that was an issue. No Ironing Board or Iron and limited hanging in room as i stayed 5 nights."

The room was spotless, bed was really comfy, facilities like hairdryer, toiletries, mini fridge and tv all excellent. My only critique was no mirror on or near dressing table to do hair and makeup. "We enjoyed our stay at Alma lodge hotel, staff were polite and friendly .the room was spacious and spotless and tea and coffee facilities were in the room. The bed was fairly comfortable but a bit on the small side for my 6ft 2 husband. The only downside was after travelling for several hours to get there ,checking in at 3pm we were informed the restaurant was closed and we were unable to have any food even though afternoon tea and sandwiches was advertised. "Absolutely gorgeous hotel, and very fairly priced for the standard! I stayed in an accessible room, and was pleasantly surprised by the size of it! All features up to standard, but would potentially have benefitted from some red emergency pull cords. I wasn't staying alone, so it wasn't a problem but for a disabled guest travelling alone it could present an issue. Breakfast was lovely, and the aesthetic of the hotel overall is just gorgeous. "

"So I have stayed her a number of times and still would stay again just beacuse the staff at this place are excellent (from front/gym staff to the ones hidden in the back i.e cooks) make up for the little bits that are not so perfect. Here are a few:- - Most room have long mirrors couple dont - Old cheapy irons and ironing boards (I like to iron my clothes) - Bath stopper (room 114) dont work so can't take a bath - TVs are old cant screen mirror (I spend Sun-Fri in the hotel) - Shower too hot...
