"Dated carpets in the general area need replacing! Room was nice but we were near mechanicals very noisy! The staff here makes up for all of it so kind & pleasant! Especially Ash & Shannon spoke to us every day always with a smile! "

"Our son and his wife graduated Hillsdale College May 2025. We booked our stay here a year in advance wanting to be sure to get the Heritage House again. Back in 2023, our first son Graduated from Hillsdale and we stayed here with family and friends. This is the PERFECT place! It easily sleep large crowd on 3 levels, has lovely indoor and outdoor seating and eating areas, and the kitchen is set up to feed a crowd. The owners are quick to respond even bringing ice to us when we were short notice. We hosted a graduation party after the ceremony and it was a lovely setting for all ages to enjoy the atmosphere and memorialize the occasion to be something special. We used local restaurants to bring in food and they are delicious and helpful also. We have 1 more son graduating in 2027 and will use Hermitage House again!"

"My fiance and I came to stay here while we were attending a friends weekend wedding down the road. It was perfect location to the venue and the house was just right for what we needed! It was a bit chilly and raining while we were there so we did not get to enjoy the outside amenities as we hoped, but hope to stay here again in the future!"

"I stayed at Joe’s cabin with my partner, two kids and parents. The layout of the cabin worked well with two young kids. We really enjoyed the dock and sitting on the deck with coffee. The place is well laid out. Laundry in unit was so helpful. With family nearby in Hudson, we would come stay again! "
