"I had a wonderful stay in Kobuchizawa, at Lodge Atelier. The room was spacious and spotless with a cute little balcony looking through trees. There are two private onsen, that are nice and hot. I stayed for five nights and didn’t have to wait to use the baths once. I took the half board option and was treated to breakfast in the lounge (very cool) and a three course evening meal in the restaurant (also very cool). "Property is clean but dated. The indoor playground is wonderful for my kids. The buffet meals were great and had a wide variety. Definitely would recommend and come back. "

"I so wanted to give the hotel full marks, but, the bathroom was very dated, and the halls slightly scruffy. Also lack of onsite food, and average local, walkable, alternative. That aside, excellent. Staff really helpful. Thank you. Reception and bedroom, wonderful, including the views of Fuji. The onsen was lovely. The Japanese breakfast very tasty and a great experience in our own Japanese style breakfast room. Thank you. Loved the stay, the shuttle was really helpful. "

"This is the WORST hotel I’ve ever been to 1. We were not able to get in to the hotel !!!! One day we came back to the hotel at 13:30 in the afternoon, THE FRONT DOOR WAS LOCKED and no one was at the front desk. Basically that morning, my friends and I had a sports competition near the hotel, we therefore came back for shower before heading out again. But then, the door was locked and WE COULDN’T GET IN !!! Crazy !!!!! I paid for the hotel and could not get in within the day ???? What logic is...
