"Loved this motel, with its very easy access to the beach and only a short trip into the centre of Hokitika The main failing was the lack of or very poor wifi and phone coverage."

"Handy to downtown! Very clean, wine glasses were available.. we love our Sauvignon blanc . There was a small dishwasher with soap to wash the dishes we used prior to departure. Kitchen was fine, with all needed utensils. We got burgers downtown and ate in the room. Trash can was nice to dispose of our leftovers. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 1 so we went downtown for abit. The Lollie shop had real fruit soft serve ice cream. It was delish! Don’t pass it up. Bed was comfy."

"The staff was lovely, friendly and accommodating with a last minute request. The 2 bedrooms were roomy & comfortable & motel had a well equipped kitchen. There was only 1 heater for 2 bedrooms and where the power point was in the lounge room it was in a bit of an awkward spot - i would just say in winter check the heater situation suits your needs when you check in - otherwise this motel is really excellent value & comfort for the price."

"A lovely, clean and well-appointed property near to the beach and town facilities. Comfortable and modern, with two nice double beds and plenty of kitchen and dining equipment. Great outside dining area, which catches the evening sun. Large screen TV and desk space available, double garage parking. Family friendly if the kids don't mind sharing. Excellent communication from the host, very friendly and helpful. Throughly recommended."

"Beautiful place to stay! Hosts we extremely lovely, unfortunately the shower head did break but that was something the host mentioned happened quite frequently. Breakfast was amazing! And the room was lovely."
