The energy vibe at the place was warm and welcoming. The food was AMAZING. The lodge only host 5 rooms. So It was very private. You could pretty much enjoy the entire property by yourself without sharing space."

"Bushbaby River Lodge was a great, quiet, peaceful play to stay in Hoedspruit. Everyone was very friendly and the setting is great. Be sure to have a rental car! The lodge is a very long walk from anything. "

"Isilimela is an Amazing place. The place itself at Balule Parson reserve is fabulous, the surroundings are serene and the views from the lodge spectacular. The owners Maikel and Wanda, and the staff are excellent and cater to your every need and much more. After every game drive or a visit outside, you are greeted by staff at the gate wth wet towels and a drink to refresh you. "Shindzela offers the type of safari experience that is sadly dying out, to be replaced by glitzy, costly options that separate visitors from the real bush. Our guide was excellent; calm & professional even when another group was shrieking and whooping (TIP, wild animals prefer quiet). Our tracker was keen-eyed, polite and focussed. The cooking/cleaning staff clearly took pride in their work. I feel Shindzela is excellent value for money and should form a part of many more travellers' trips....
