"The only reason I'm giving this place 4* is because the road leading down is gravel and not bery well maintained. The cabin itself is a paradise! The pond is beautiful, the ducks friendly, and the fast moving creek sounds lull you to sleep. I was very pleasantly surprised at how stocked the kitchen was with cooking supplies. The staff was friendly and the whole property is well maintained. "

"The property was really clean and had good amount of towel plates cutleey etc. the major issue we had was that the roof was leaking everywhere in most rooms. One of the beds was wet and we slept with water dripping next to us the enter night. When I raised it with the reception, there was no apology for the inconvenience but only stating that it was the thatched roof. If they know about the leaks, they should maintain the roof."

Jacques is an excellent, warm and considerate host. Casa de la Presa offers the perfect getaway on a quiet and serene reserve shared with wildlife. Our 6-year-old was thrilled to see giraffes, impala, kudus, wildebeast and much more on a game drive. Truly one of the best holidays we've had. "

"My wife and I had a fabulous time spent at Nyati. Arranged collection from Hoedspruit airport and on arrival at the lodge a lovely welcome and drink then shown to our luxury tent. A stunning view from the balcony of our tent overlooking the river and able to see hippos and crocodile. Game drives were excellent and rangers all very friendly and knowledgeable. The food is amazing and thoroughly enjoyed breakfast , lunch and dinner and the wines served were also very good with the evening meal. Patricia (Mrs Rainbow) behind the bar was brilliant. Would highly recommend this place."

"The garden room that I booked was just okay a bit disappointed as here is not even a single bottle of water in the room I have forgotten to make provision for water...the breakfast is a bit disappointed compared to the dinner which is delicious 😋"

What made our stay especially memorable was the amazing staff. Everyone was so warm, friendly, and welcoming, always going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Their genuine kindness and hospitality made us feel right at home. A huge thank you to Origin and Carl for our game drives – and for not giving up until we finally found the rhino! Their knowledge, enthusiasm, and determination made the experience unforgettable.
