Hotel is very beautiful and the staff are extremely friendly, polite and very accommodating.

The hotel felt dated and quite shabby. The gym is no longer in use (which wasn’t advertised at booking), breakfast was basic albeit adequate. This may once have been a 4* establishment but is certainly no longer at this standard. The towel rail and extractor in the bathrooms was seemingly switched off, the heater in the bedroom was sporadic and it felt as though the room had been out of use for some time, but not freshened up before my stay.
