"Great overnight stay"

"We had a perfect weekend. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and spotless, and the staff is kind, welcoming, and extremely helpful. Our room was big, clean, and comfortable, and we loved being able to fold up the couch bed so my four year old daughter could play. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the couch bed was great as well. My four year old had a blast playing with Daddy in the lovely pool area. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature, and the hot tub was just the right kind of hot. Breakfast was amazing, featuring plenty of eggs, meat of cheese, various breads, waffles, cereals, milk and juice, among other things. Our vegan family member was thrilled that plant based sausages were offered, along with oatmeal and fruit, both fresh and dried. We didn't have time to use the fire pit and grill areas, but they looked fun. We also loved that Aldi and other stores were right across the street. Made it easy to bring back groceries to use for making meals in the full kitchen. It doesn't have a stove, but they gave us a hot plate and pan at the front desk, and it worked great! The only unexpected event was the historic storms in the area, featuring tornados and baseball sized hail! But I don't think we can blame the hotel for that! We have visited the area for a weekend for the past eight months, and this was our family's favorite hotel we have stayed in.Thank you for the magical weekend with our daughter! "There was a lump under the sheets, turned out to be a piece of tape. Also the room smelled terrible when we walked in. We were there for 8 hours for a quick night sleep so we just made coffee to hide the smell and went to sleep. Wasn't worth trying to switch rooms."

"Me and my wife decided to have a getaway night without the kids. The hotel was immaculate. I was very impressed with the staff's kindness and going the extra mile for us. The room was unbelievable. Large, clean ,and very romantic. The view was perfect and the fireplace from both sides was very intriguing. We will definitely be visiting again soon. Ms. Diane really has improved Beloit tourism, and she should be recognized and shown great appreciation for what she has done for Beloit."

"The carpet was damp from concrete moisture. It’s smelled like wet carpet in our room. The fan on high with a/c and an open window helped. My daughter found a couple very small bugs and Googled their description. They were possibly baby bed bugs. She was too scared to look under the sheets. My daughter ate the pre-made egg patty and sausage patty, but then started to vomit 10 minutes later. I’m not one to complain to staff, so I just won’t stay here ever again. "
