"The Dock was fabulous and exactly what I was hoping to achieve for a 1 night stay between my work days. I was gutted as I’d heard so much about the breakfast but I ended up being in such a rush so didn’t have time to have a full English but the lush lady behind the kitchen counter asked me if I wanted a sandwich making to take away. She made me a huge and the best tasting bacon sarnie with a latte to take away (proper fresh brewed coffee) she saved my bacon literally haha. As I didn’t eat again...

"The hotel has fabulous Christmas decorations that make it feel even cosier and more inviting. The staff were really friendly, professional & welcoming. The room was a good size and clean and well presented, as was the bathroom. The bar area was relaxed and had a nice atmosphere. Only one issue during the visit. The breakfast sandwiches were in stotties that seemed a bit stale. We didn’t feed this back at the time, which I now realise was unfair. Apologies."

"Would usually book a hotel as moving child to Newcastle Uni but due to home match and lots of other parents moving their kids in, hotels were thin on the ground! Picked the apartments and was pleasantly surprised. Ticked all the boxes and great to have a small kitchen. Had everything we needed. Only criticism would be a lack of bedside table/shelf and the sofa wasn’t the comfiest but it was all clean and functional. Will def recommend. "

"The room was excellent, bed was so comfortable that we slept in on our 1st night, leaving only 1 and a half hours to get ready for a wedding we were going to. The bathroom was lovely, a large shower with rainfall head. Very deep bath that we used on 2nd day. A great menu and restaurants to choose from.
