"The bunk area was very nice - and the shower was right there and easily accessible. The breakfast was simple but they had gluten free options. It's almost right in the middle of town so everything is very close. The staff was knowledgable about options on the island."

"We could see Miyajima Island from our hotel. The traditional ryokan style room was fun. We slept very well. There is a free ferry from the hotel island but you have to reserve it in advance and we couldn't figure out how to do it until it was already filled. They have welcome icecream from 3:00 to 5:00."

"Stayed here for 2 nights and this hotel was within easy reach of everything. Pleasant and courteous staff. We had a deluxe king size room on 8th floor. Decent size room but like many Japanese hotels not much luggage space. We were ok as only had small suitcases. Amenities good and free complementary toothbrushes etc. Didn’t try the spa so can’t comment on that’s Have laundry facility's and microwave on the same floor. Only downside, no safe in the room for valuables. Breakfast not bad. Scrambled egg could have been warmer but have cereal, mixers fruits and yogurts etc so still not a bad start for the day. Recommend Hiroshima Neighbourly Brewing and area around that for food. Bout 10-15 mins walk away from hotel. Loved Memorial Park and palace. Wish we had longer in Hiroshima my favourite place in Japan so far "

"The Laundry room contains 2 combo machines. While the washing was sufficient the drying takes multiple attempts if you wash a pair of jeans. We ended up just hang drying the wet items so I would recommend doing laundry 48 hours before departing the hotel. The staff will also hold your luggage for you on the day of departure as long as you pick it up same day. I believe they will also assist you in luggage forwarding services but we did not partake in that. There was also a free breakfast. Items include coffee and teas as well as little baggies of muffins and bread. "
