"Although not within walking distance of the train station, it is a short, inexpensive taxi ride. The area of town is walkable, close to the main Hiroshima war memorials, a good shopping district, nice views from the hotel, and a lovely small park in front with war memorials and interesting sculptures. Our room on the 19th floor had plenty of space and a sitting area with terrific views. Since we were on the "club" level, we were entitled to take advantage of the "club" offerings, and they were top-notch. Japanese and Western-style breakfast offerings, tea-time service with wonderful little pastry bites, and a cocktail hour (2 hours) with free pour wines, beers, sake, and liquors. Plus, delectable appetizers, which, for us, one night substituted for our dinner. The room is well-staffed and was hosted by Yuta Fukuda during our nights there. A charming, hospitable host exemplfying all of the best traits of the this hotel's staff."

"The location was great. There is a train route along the same street as this hotel. Hondori shopping street and Don Quijote are within walking distance. The room was very clean and had most of the amenities we needed (no iron/ironing board though). The staff was friendly, checking in and out was easy. We were very satisfied with our stay. Thank you!"

"Great hotel. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were spacious and the towels were some of the best I’ve had. Quite area close by to many attractions. Free breakfast had tons of selection for different tastes."

"The hotel is beautiful, and the room was very comfortable. I would probably stay here again. The hotel is the last/first stop on one of the bus lines, which made it convenient for sightseeing. The bus is only every 30-40 minutes though, so you have to time things out or wait for the next bus. The island has a nice walking path around it, which was a fun addition to staying at this hotel! We had two issues with staying at this hotel. The public baths cost 2000 yen per person, and are very strict about no tattoos. We were not able to use this amenity even with tattoo covers, unfortunately. The hotel has a laundry service but does NOT have on-site laundry machines to do your own laundry. We were able to take the bus/walk to a nearby laundromat, because the laundry service was pretty expensive. "

"Great hotel, clean and lovely staff. Good to have the breakfast included - it was varied and plentiful. Ideal location too. Only complaint is about the pillows - rock hard and only 1 provided. I got an extra and still not comfortable. Otherwise, good hotel!"
