"We stayed in a room in the main lodge, and were lucky to be upgraded to a mountain view. It was lovely - no TV or telephone made it a very relaxing stay. Our room, however, did not have any hot water, so showering or bathing was not possible. We checked out early so there was no one to report this to upon our departure. Aside from this, our stay was lovely. "

"Booked this accommodation only 1 hour before arriving. Dennis who runs the property was very welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. The views from the individual cabins / rooms are fantastic. Dennis is so passionate about food and cooking. This came across with a fabulous cooked breakfast. Dennis also arrange and cooked an evening meal based on the protein requirements. We had a 4 course meal that was stunning and also got to spend an evening with 4 other lovely guests also staying at the property. I’d definitely recommend and if back in the area I will be back. "We were looking forward to trying these domes out for a couple of nights. Unfortunately, they were dirty, the floor was not swept and the fridge was disgusting. The bed was on a piece of scrap carpet they cut out of somewhere and the small glass table had a large crack across the top. The temperature went down to -12c and the outdoor bathroom facilites froze up. They had heaters going both in the dome and in the outhouse, but they were almost useless. One good thing was the bed had an electric blanket and so we were warm in the bed. I was expecting a "camping" experience, so knew it would be cold getting up and using the outhouse, but if you are renting them out at this time of year, you need to make sure things will be working regardless of the weather. It was certainly an adventure but not one i will repeat at this facility."
