"Have already booked another stay, the motel is in a quiet area, the grounds are well maintained and tidy, the room is clean and well maintained, the beds are comfortable and clean. Close to a little shops and highway Definitely a go to place ."

"I was after an overnighter in that general area and the Aussie was a fraction of the price of anything within cooee. It is an old structure but well maintained along with toaster and tea/coffee/chocolate making facilities in my room. Comfy bed, easy chair, table, TV etc. Only thing less than perfect was that the shower fitting couldn't be adjusted properly because one of the wingnuts wouldn't tighten properly. For all that it was still adjustable enough to have a good shower. More than happy. Thoroughly recommend the Aussie."

"My whole family and my best friends had a lovely time spending a few days together in the countryside celebrating special birthdays. A Country Retreat is the most perfect description; a wonderful homestead surrounded by trees and completely private acreage. Plenty of bedrooms and beds with lots of room for all the generations to spread out. Loved how the kitchen, dinning and outdoor area around the pool all joined together to make one big entertainment area. The kids loved the pool of course and had lots of fun in the playground area with swings, a trampoline, cubby house and a mini basketball court. If you have very young ones do check the equipment for their safety. The fire pit was just awesome, we toasted marshmallows, danced and sang songs.Unfortunately there was one disappointment; us mature ladies missed out on a bubbly hot tub experience as the blower was not working. The property was well presented and had traditional upkeep for a country home - a few spiderwebs and bugs to be expected It had plenty of linen and towels and the beautiful kitchen was well equipped for large groups, having an extra-large oven was such a bonus. There are four TVs in the house, an outdoor sound system, some games, books, a few toys for the kids and much appreciated was the air conditioning and ceiling fans. It was a memorable experience and I highly recommend this property for special occasions as it’s a great party house."
