Top Highworth Hotel Reviews
Milton Hill
8/10 Good
"Nice hotel with lovely grounds. Only stayed one night and had to leave early so didn’t have breakfast."
De Vere Cotswold Water Park
8/10 Good
"I think the hotel lacks AC, and it was very hot during our stay. I believe the fans in the bedrooms were old and not as efficient as we have now become accustomed to. I understand that the disabled car park is available as close as possible, but it is still some distance for those with mobility issues. Enough moaning we enjoyed our stay very much."
Holiday Inn Swindon by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"The welcome was great and air conditioning worked. Quiet and just far enough away from the M4 to be good for onward journey."
Kings Head
10/10 Excellent
"Great room even if a little warm (ac stopped running) Would return as location is great "
Courtyard by Marriott Oxford South
8/10 Good
"Air conditioning needs to be better. Breakfast selection was more on par with holiday inn express. No option on different eggs, only scrambled eggs available, bacon was very fatty. Nice orange juice though"
Village Hotel Swindon
8/10 Good
"The hotel is very clean and ideally located, with shops nearby and an adventure centre with cinema and other entertainment facilities just across the road. We booked a family room and it was great, very spacious and clean. I requested a cot for my baby and it was in the room when we got there. The swimming pool and other facilities were wonderful, and we all enjoyed it. The bar/restaurant was great too and they were showing the World Cup final on the big screen which was brilliant for my husband and 10 year old who are football mad. The staff were lovely, talked us through the self check in and out. They also assisted very promptly when we realised our shower had no bodywash, just shampoo and handwash. There were a lot of positives and we’d definitely book again. The only things that let us down a bit was that the room was at the far end of the corridor so there was a lot of walking to get to it. It seems the closest exit was blocked off for some maintenance work, which we aren’t holding against them as it is temporary. It was very warm in the night and there was no where to get water, which for me as a breastfeeding mum was disappointing. I tried to message the team on the designated platform, I even went down to reception in the early hours to try and get some water but to no avail. I assumed there’d be a water dispenser or a vending machine at least. Otherwise a good stay, seems they are fixing a few things in the hotel which is promising. I would highly recommend"
The Slaughters Country Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel set in an idyllic village but expensive, not only to stay there but also for food and drinks within the hotel ."
The Wiltshire Hotel, Golf and Leisure Resort
8/10 Good
"Staff welcoming and helpful Breakfast good and reasony choice - Sat overlooking the golf course. Reasonable price Room dated and in need of update Pool and gym access"
Cricklade House Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western
8/10 Good
"Friendly and helpful staff. The spacious bedroom was clean and quiet. Pool and gym facilities are a bonus as is the free parking. The restaurant food and breakfast buffet were good, nice to have coffee served rather than a self service machine version. Would stay here again when next in the area."
