"Nice location/setting but the property is a little “tired’ which is reflected somewhat in the price.
Unfortunately, there was a wedding reception during the Saturday afternoon and night which dominated the use of all areas of the hotel until midnight. The silver lining was the Hop Pole Inn pub at the bottom of the driveway was really excellent and highly recommended. I wouldn’t rule this hotel out if you want to stay there midweek as it has its merits - rooms are fine and nice towels...
